PORTAL 2 XBOX ONE UPDATE
If you haven't already, please opt-in to the latest beta version of the Steam Client as the recent update from June 5th may have a possible fix.ġ) In Steam, click on "Steam" in the upper left, then choose the "Settings" menu.
I'll copy/paste the relevant part from these support responses below: Prior to this I had made my own workaround for my DualShock4 controller, but after following these instructions I no longer need to use my own fix. Support has put out a very quick response with a working fix to this - I've seen that several users across boards for different games have gotten a support response to this effect, and all of them have reported that doing so fixes their controller issues. Moving on - This became an issue with Portal 2 and a few other Valve games after recent small patches to them, and some other unrelated games that were relying on Steam's controller configuration system - many games with their own controller support and not using Steam's controller configuration system are unaffected and still function properly. Anyways, sorry for that, I'll get back to the real topic here. I don't mind it personally, but some others would just overlook a topic like that. I don't mean this as a complaint, but just as a small bit of advice, your topics may get more attention if they aren't written out in all caps.
